The Client
Yorbox are an Ecommerce brand based in Crawley, who sell household essentials in bulk quantities. This allows customers to get discounts on daily items like deodorants and shampoos.
The client had a logo and some basic branding, and they required an website to be built using the WordPress platform.
What We Built
We created a custom design which represents their brand and its identity. They stock a large number of products, which we had to import into WooCommerce along with images. Furthermore, each product image needed to look like a “multi-pack”. We used Photoshop to create a multi-pack style image for every product. We introduced a ‘3D’ effect which makes the products sit like they are on a shelf. This has a strong visual appeal, and re-enforces the fact that their products are sold in big quantities.
We really enjoyed working on this project and developing it from an initial design into a large ecommerce store. We paid attention to detail to ensure a consistent style throughout, with an effective colour pallete and rounded corners on all elements. On the backend the site makes use of custom functionality, and has advanced features like Weight Based Shipping and Courier Integration. We also introduced custom designs for their Order Confirmation Emails.
